The GeoComputation community has centred itself around a series of international research conferences initiated in 1996. From 2002 GeoComp has alternated every other year with GIScience (excepting 2023). The conference moves to a different location each time. This site maintains papers and other information from previous conferences and links to upcoming conferences.

GIScience 2025 is planned to take place in Christchurch, New Zealand from the 26th to the 29th of August 2025.
